Introducing Enhanced Resonance, Clearer Sound, and Improved Balance with Input from Renowned Artist Patrick Sheridan
Taipei, Taiwan, August 19, 2024 … KHS Musical Instruments Co., Ltd. is thrilled to announce significant upgrades to our Jupiter low brass instruments. These enhancements, developed in collaboration with world-renowned low brass artist Patrick Sheridan, mark a new era of playability and sound quality for musicians. Sheridan’s experience, expertise and passion have been instrumental in the evolution of Jupiter instruments. His insights have ensured that the new designs meet the highest standards of performance and comfort.
The upgraded Jupiter Euphonium will be available from September 1st, 2024, providing musicians with the first opportunity to experience these remarkable enhancements. The Jupiter Tuba will follow with its upgraded version set to launch at the end of 2024. Both instruments will be available through authorized Jupiter dealers worldwide.
Three Main Enhancements
One-piece Design:
Jupiter’s new design concept features an integrated single-structure valve cluster and one-piece bracing. This enhancement creates a more resonant playing experience by improving the transmission of vibrations, thereby increasing playability. Musicians will enjoy richer, fuller tones with enhanced resonance, making performances more captivating.
Annealing Process:
An advanced annealing process has been applied to these instruments, enhancing the clarity of the sound, and providing a more precise and expressive musical experience.
The balance of the instruments has been meticulously optimized. Improved balance makes it easier for musicians to hold the instrument, reducing fatigue and allowing for longer, more comfortable practice and performance sessions.
